Switch your exercise routine to mornings in the fall and winter, so you get your daily dose of sunshine. Walking or running outdoors in the morning sunshine makes the shorter days and getting out of work when it’s dark easier.

I don’t have a car so that means I do a lot of walking. And when the distance is too far to walk, I take public transportation which is a step toward reducing my carbon footprint.

Taking a dance or strength/tone class 2-4 times a week is very beneficial to me. And when I can’t make it, I use the stretching and slow breathing techniques at home to alleviate workday stress!
